Native
Elements - For the Love
"For the Love" is the newest release by Bay Area favorites Native Elements. Currently in their 8th year as a band, this is their second album, a follow up to 1996's "Nice n' Up". The album is a mix of straight roots tracks like "Blue Skies/Grey Skies", dancehall tracks like It's You (featuring Dani Spencer) feel good upbeat tracks like "Reggae Dancing, and "If you Want." A lot of the tracks have a higher tempo than most reggae songs, which helps to make it a great party record. However, the lyrics are definitely not to be ignored. There's love songs, songs of Praise, and many other themes. Some of the highlight tracks include Blue Skies, Reggae Dancing, If you Want, and It's you. This album get's a 10/10. by,
