Irie Sounds with DJ Ras James

Greetings, and welcome to the part of Bay Area Reggae livicated to the show Irie Sounds, which airs every sunday from 2-4 on KSVY 91.3 FM in Sonoma, CA. This page will be host to information about upcoming programs, special guests, playlists from previous weeks, and the long-awaited CD giveaway contests!

Irie Sounds started in early April on the newest station in the bay area, KSVY 91.3 FM in sonoma. The show is on from 2-4 every Sunday, and is livicated to Reggae Music and it's associated culture. WE have been Blessed to be based in a town that is very receptive to the music and culture.

Besides Irie Sounds, the station has all sorts of great shows. It's probably the only station where on the same day you can find Reggae, Rock, traditional Mexican Christian music, and ultra-left leaning talk radio. So needless to say, we are glad to be on a station that is so eclectic. Big up all the KSVY hosts, behind the scenes people (engineers, etc...), and the community of Sonoma for not having me tarred and feathered and put on the rail out of town :).
